Miguels
now i know what decks not to buy.. a legit question. will that signal destroy speakers or will it only sound like crap? in other words. what kills a sub, distortion or a clipped signal Quote my logshttp://www.stevemead...-my-new-set-up/my blow through loghttp://www.stevemead...future-updates/ 96 ss http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/164094-96-impala-ss-build/
TonyD'Amore
I wonder if the company knows about this or even cares? I'm guessing they do care, and probably don't know. Just my guess though.

meade916
No bro's....you can use a DMM to set gains. Those are very accurate. As accurate as an O-scope but even MORE accurate than a DD-1. 2 Quote All SMD products + MORE available at my store here! https://wccaraudio.com/ Subscribe to My Youtube Channel! meade916
is it just that one unit or a bad design? prob a bad unit. Most of the alpines i have used my DD-1 on didn't distort at all. At least not till the very last few notches like most pioneers, if at all. Quote All SMD products + MORE available at my store here! https://wccaraudio.com/ Subscribe to My Youtube Channel! This problem by itself would not destroy speakers, but it would not sound good. It has the same problem at 1kHz which sounds reallllly bad.
