Higrade Posted February 13, 2015 Report Posted February 13, 2015 Hey guys i need help with a enclosure for 2 JL audio 10'' W7, max dimensions are 36" wide, 17" high and 18" deep. I have an Audison bit 10D with RF 2500BDCP powering them. i tried searching the forum but found nothing.

How high/low do you want them to play? Which car is this going into? Loud and low, great sounding, huge bandwidth, tight sound,...? Thinking is the root of all problems... You ALWAYS get what you pay for.
Higrade Posted February 13, 2015 Author Report Posted February 13, 2015 yeah i know kinda over kill with power but these 10"s are for winter/ travel use. i got DD9515 for warmer weather. i want to get the max out of these, ground shaking. i listen mostly Hip Hop, Reggae and dubstep/ electronic dance Full tilt just under clip

Just know that you'll have to be pretty carefull, they aren't made for the wattage you are putting to them. Slowed hiphop or just regular? Thinking is the root of all problems... You ALWAYS get what you pay for.
Higrade Posted February 13, 2015 Author Report Posted February 13, 2015 regular hip hop, just musical playback, no "draging" its going into a 09 Hyundai Sonata, car is a daily i have had these subs for about 6 months in a sh*tty box.

kirill007 Posted February 13, 2015 Report Posted February 13, 2015 3 cu ft net (after all displacements) tuned to 35.33Hz, 3 6" aeroports or about 80-85 sq inches of port area. It will give you usefull response down to about 30Hz, set the HPF(/subsonic on some amps) around 28-30Hz and you should be fine even with that amp. (still listen for stress and smell) Port and subwoofer aimed to the back. (port passenger side) EDIT: bumping your thread this quickly isn't allowed, just warning you.
