I just tested.lol It is only more efficient up to a certain amount of power, then opening hte door is a small gain. In my testing, I would do a 160.5 on 8k sealed on dash, open the door, score stays the same, but power goes up almost 2000 watts.lol Seat position also was around 500w depending how it was setup.
