Alex Coyne Posted March 17, 2015 Report Posted March 17, 2015 I created a thread earlier in regards to a good subwoofer setup for a 2,000 watt system. Alot of good SQ options where thrown around (DDS, SSA, Ascendant, Fi .....ect). One option I didn't hear of was the JBL W12GTI. I checked sonicelectronix and they had buy one get one 50% off What are the consensus of these subwoofers ? I contacted a few owners and they swear there life on these subwoofers (where talking extreme talking a product up). Car audio owners of over 10 years where talking them up good time and one guy even gave me a sound graph to show me how they are some of the most efficient subwoofers out there Are these subs really the holy grail of SQ or are they just a normal good sound SQ subwoofers ? Price was $570 for two 12s
Broke_Audio_Addict Posted March 17, 2015 Report Posted March 17, 2015 They are really good subs but not the holy grail of Sq subs or you'd see every single Sq build using them. That being said a lot of people's definition of "music" is a clipped 30 hz sine wave with some 80 IQ knuckle head grunting about committing crimes and his genitals.
Joe X Posted March 17, 2015 Report Posted March 17, 2015 Holy grail of SQ pay for one get the second 50% off... LOL.
kirill007 Posted March 17, 2015 Report Posted March 17, 2015 They are very good subwoofers for that price. Not that many people used them for their intended use, and the people who did loved them. Thinking is the root of all problems... You ALWAYS get what you pay for.
