I'm planning a box with some windows, but they won't be nearly that big so I don't think flex will be as much of an issue. I'm thinking 1" acrylic, because acrylic can be polished if you scratch it and mine will be in the open. Let me know if you find some 1" for a good price. Every where I looked it was CRAZY high compared to the 3/4"! Don't make no sense at all! I would of rather ran 1" but couldn't find it for a decent price This is where I'm looking, 12x12 1" thick for $24.59, 3/4" of the same size is $18.49.
