I drove it today with out the system and it felt like it was fast. DavidClark Posted November 30, 2015 Author Report Posted November 30, 2015 The truth is, I asked for an SPL oriented box so he did an SPL oriented ratio 3.9:1, I am not will to buy 9,000 + in amps , another alt, alt bracket, more batteries and wire to make to box shine the way it can. So I chose to make some cheap modifications to my current box and ride through the winter. I now realize that I would rather enjoy my build (25-45 hz) daily rather than something that is tuned a touch higher. Daniel is going to build me another box in a couple months for six level 5 15's. Honestly, everything is always going to change no matter what, I have never had a system stay the same for very long anyways. I had the back torn apart to add the extra runs of ground so I figured this would be a better time than any to make some relatively cheap changes. It's a lot of work but the foundation has already been layed down for me so its really not that bad. The ratio is about what i want....Hell i want more spread even...... . dont get what your doing, but, seems you got a plan... good luck . the ratio is good, but to achieve it they had to shrink the sealed side a pretty good amount... which is why the rise was getting so out of control, and why it needed ungodly amounts of power to really put up its best numbers. if he is planning on pulling the sealed baffle forward to increase the sealed volume then it will definitely play much lower....
