Syphlyn Posted April 12, 2015 Report Posted April 12, 2015 Hey guys, I finally got around to installing my Mechman 250a elite series alternator for my 2000 f150. The thing is a complete beast, I can be full tilt at 600 rpm and i don't dip below 14.3v. I'm running a saz-2000d and all Knukonceptz OFC 0g. My question/concern is my voltage meter reads 15.0v when charging (hot and cold), is that too high? Will it damage my truck? It never goes past 15.0 and when warm it "dances" between 14.9 and 15.0. Do I have any reason to be concerned? My SMD VM1 shows 14.9v. As long as it doesn't go above 15 Yeap it's always around 14.9-15.0 except when bumping for obvious reasons.
