firebirdude
If we're speaking from personal experience only, I stopped caring about the numbers long ago. Last time I metered my own vehicle was 2002ish. Pontiac Firebird with three 10"s sealed with 1kWRMS did 145.2 legal. Really just thrown in there too. lol
all4spl
Yeah I am at the point of not caring anymore, if this doesn't gain over the previous tries I am done. I was going to come out of retirement after 11 years to do IDBL but just may not be in the cards for me. kbsmoker
Have you tried port to driver side? At finals in 2012 another explorer with 3 aq 10s port firing angled to driver side was doing 47s with iirc an aq 2200. I know not same vehicle but he said in testing it was best for wave development, could be your problem like TF said www.dcsoundlab.comyoutube video's kbsmoker2011 MECAOH AS3 Champ 147.5OH DB2 Champ 125.9WF AS3 3rd 147.3WF DB3 2nd 128.3 SystemPioneer AVH-P4300DVD2 sets Fusion Encounter 6.5 componentson Crunch Ground Pounder 1200.418" DC NEO on DC 5.0KKnukonceptz 1/0 through outBig 3 all 1/0XS D6500under hood D3100 in the backMechman 270....rebuilt by Ohio Generator

TaylorFade
Do you have room for a bandpass?
all4spl
Yes I have room for a BP the subs/port firing back was a failure, all boxes are scoring all around the same level 144db. With a +/- of .5- .7. Retired from SPL again.... 2016 IASCA Truck/Trunk 2 Champion 151.8db 2016 IASCA Truck/Trunk 2 World Record Holder

With a +/- of .5- .7. So what does that tell us? The subs and port are coupling into the same shared space (the cargo area). So with similarly sized boxes... the mutual coupling is unaffected by orientation. I bet your peak isn't changing more than a cycle or two either, is it? Bandpass that bitch. all4spl
Yup every box peaks around the same freq as well, ill look into a bandpass just not really looking to wall the jeep, so it would have to be a compact bandpass and I would have to have it built. Simply because i have never built one, and would rather have someone who knows how to build them do it.
