firebirdude Posted May 25, 2015 Report Posted May 25, 2015 You don't even have to wall it off. But you can have the face of the box where the seats are and the bulk of the box extend into the trunk. Then amps/batteries up against the rear bumper. Should be able to still use the rear window.
Broke_Audio_Addict Posted May 25, 2015 Report Posted May 25, 2015 I would lose one and do two in a proper enclosure. That being said a lot of people's definition of "music" is a clipped 30 hz sine wave with some 80 IQ knuckle head grunting about committing crimes and his genitals.
Ahmed Johnson Posted May 25, 2015 Report Posted May 25, 2015 If you dont like what they are telling you, just brace the hell out of the box and call it one.
TriassicReef Posted May 25, 2015 Author Report Posted May 25, 2015 thanks guys, i guess i can learn how to fiber glass the whole trunk or just build another box for 2 lol DAMMMMMNNNNIIITTTTTTTTTT
Broke_Audio_Addict Posted May 25, 2015 Report Posted May 25, 2015 It's not a bad thing two in a proper enclosure should outperform three in non optimal conditions. There is always selling all three and buying new subs that you can fit in that space as well. Sealed I wouldn't do but yes you can, two subs in ported 8 cubes net, no subs firing up is what I would recommend if possible.
Triticum Agricolam Posted May 25, 2015 Report Posted May 25, 2015 what do you think about 3 15's in a sealed box vs 2 15's in a ported box? Two ported 15"s is going to walk all over three sealed 15" on the lower frequencies IMHO. Higher frequency bass, the three sealed subs will probably win. That being said, I agree with JoeX, do two in a ported box.
