Triticum Agricolam
I don't think you have enough money invested in clamps to be honest. I would agree. I've only got two of the Bessy parallel clamps, I wish all my clamps were those, but at about $40 a piece that isn't going to happen any time soon. Haha. I think we accidentally derailed his thread! That's OK. WOW accidentally derailed my life for about 5 years. That's all in the past now though! MrSkippyJ
Yeah 5 years sounds about right. So I may have missed it, why is this called the Tuba build? Triticum Agricolam
Yeah 5 years sounds about right. So I may have missed it, why is this called the Tuba build? Its the design of the sub. Its called the Tuba HT and was designed by Bill Fitzmaurice. He has a lot of interesting designs, his website is: http://www.billfitzmaurice.com/ "Nothing prevents people from knowing the truth more than the belief they already know it.""Making bass is easy, making music is the hard part."Builds:
_paralyzed_
Why not just use PL? You want the better clamps but won't use the better adhesive? Not bashing, just curious.
Triticum Agricolam
Why not just use PL? You want the better clamps but won't use the better adhesive? Not bashing, just curious. That's a good question, there are a couple reasons why I used Titebond. Compared to PL it's cheaper, less messy, and dries faster. Also several guys on Bill Fitzmauurice's forum basically told me there was no way to build a leak-free enclosure without using PL and I want to prove them wrong :-) "Nothing prevents people from knowing the truth more than the belief they already know it.""Making bass is easy, making music is the hard part."Builds:
