99GPGTX Posted June 4, 2015 Report Posted June 4, 2015 Original box design didnt pan out like i had hoped. whether its a design flaw or execution of the box. Im tempted to think the box itself wasnt designed to specs. But i dont know for sure without taking the sub out the box (tools not accessible). Looking for a box just under 2cubes, tuned to 30hz. Hope you guys can help! Any proven designs would be appreciated too! 99GPGTX Posted June 4, 2015 Author Report Posted June 4, 2015 Optimal dimensions are the ones you can fit. well just about anything will fit...my old box would have fit. Except with my old car i could have also been able to fit the amps too. This would be box only 12" Havoc sealed would suite your needs just fine. Fiberglassed in the same spot as factory sub. Joe X Posted June 4, 2015 Report Posted June 4, 2015 Post the max dims for a box that could fit along with the amps, sometimes you choose the driver that needs the smaller enclosure if the space is really tight, for sealed you need to pick a driver that works well in sealed but just bear in mind that sealed is less efficient than a ported enclosure.
firebirdude Posted June 4, 2015 Report Posted June 4, 2015 lol smallest trunk in the world. You ain't seen too many trunks then man. Pop open the trunk on any drop top.
