LoweredA34
Will you be doing the "Big 3" in 1/0 Gauge Wire (Highly Recommend)? If you can get us the maximum dimensions of your trunk that you would want to use then that'll help us tremendously. I won't do the big 3. and I'll probably use 2 or 4 gauge wire. I need to not worry about the box size right now because my trunk really is huge. I would just like to know opinions for subwoofer and amp combos... mrazandrewm
Ported boxes can be pretty big depending on size of woofer and power going to it as well... Broke_Audio_Addict
The space you have to work with is where you should start. You can't just say it doesn't matter. That being said a lot of people's definition of "music" is a clipped 30 hz sine wave with some 80 IQ knuckle head grunting about committing crimes and his genitals. Mr DeeBeez
keep in mind the opening of your trunk. your trunk might have a lot of space in your trunk. but if your opening is small, it wont fit Fi Team 18's (4) Crossfire 16k Crossfire 400.4 & 800.4 Pioneer AVH-X491bhs 140ah cmax CES 320's (2)
STEvil
new transfer case for my truck. and a funkypup. MickyMcD - "Capable of making some serious trouser flapping volumes at where's-my-testicles frequencies, the Servo-Drives used to be fairly jaw dropping..." Any time you have have a power wire next to your frame put some rubber hosing (or cut up an innertube) around it. The wire is bound to wiggle (due to driving or flex) and the casing will eventually wear through. Hammerdown... 1% no links to outside websites, business related FB/YT pages allowed. LoweredA34
Also, do you want the same company for both amplifier and subwoofer? Or mix and match? They can be mix and match. The space you have to work with is where you should start. You can't just say it doesn't matter. Yeah I understand... but would a box for my trunk really need to be that big just for one subwoofer? I'm also considering making a custom box to sit in my rear back seat because I'd like to save my wing that's mounted on my trunk.

MarioB
Keep in mind, proper install and proper airspace matters most. Most everything else people say...is opinion. Yea I'm gonna pay for a professional shop here in town to wire it. I'm just looking for options because I don't know what's really out there and what's the best for my budget. Most people around here have Kicker lol. And I know I don't want to settle. I want the good stuff!
