doug118 Posted July 9, 2015 Report Share Posted July 9, 2015 This happened in the matter of a week. I have 2 batteries and this only happened on the ground of 1 battery. I have 4 frame grounds and none of the connections are loose. Battery rests at 12.94. Any ideas as to why it happened? 2001 Tahoe. I think that only happens when the gas mixes with water and causes the build up of corrosion on the negative posts. I may be wrong but i have not seen it happen on agm like i do on lead acid batteries. I found a tinyyyyyyy pin hole in the corner but I'm not sure if it goes all the way through the plastic. I'm sure it does because that's just my luck 2001 Tahoe.
