reedal Posted July 14, 2015 Report Share Posted July 14, 2015 The Knu I linked and the SHCA you linked are both CCA. There's nothing wrong with CCA. It just can not handle as much current as OFC, so depending on how much total your current draw is, you might have to use more than just a single run. I believe SHCA 1/0 CCA is rated for 250A for a 20ft run. Don't know about the Knu. But i have some Knu 1/0 CCA I used for grounds, and it's a bit more flexible than the SHCA OFC I use for power. That being said a lot of people's definition of "music" is a clipped 30 hz sine wave with some 80 IQ knuckle head grunting about committing crimes and his genitals. JAZ Posted July 15, 2015 Author Report Share Posted July 15, 2015 thats the thing guys, shipping is ridiculous, but i want quality cable at a good price, and these are the best bets, the SHCA AND KNU cables, with the purchase from ebay as well as shipping it should cost me R950, if any of you guys know our currency you know its shit compared to the dollar, at the moment 1$ is equivalent to R12.6. im not planning a huge build, i just need a length for + and a small length for - oneday i would love to build systems like you guys, walled and low as f%*k......... here in South Africa, we mainly build higher frequency cars to compete with, thats why i want to build a really low freq vehicle and just go to shows and play music the whole day............. you guys are my inspiration for that......................oneday Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
