2 12" Zv3s 4th order blowthrough

Hi I am building a custom box for my 2 12" Zv3s on a Banda Viking 5k. Planning on either doing a ported box with aero port flared out to fit the rear center console fold down seat hole or a 4th with the same design. Saw a guy on here with a Impala with this build pretty much doing 150. Numbers aren't too big of a deal but a 150+ trunk build and demo car being my daily driver would be amazing. I have a design I found which is pretty much what we had already talked baout Want more lows then anything I know for higher numbers gotta be tuned higher. This guy did 150+ at 30hz which would be fine with me. I know it depends on acoustics of the car as well. here is a link to the video. He hasnt been active in over a year on here or youtube. If somebody knows how to get ahold of him that would be great. Looking for designs and specs thanks! When I upload pics tell me what you think. Not wanting to do a trunk wall as a I value my backseats too much. I dont care about the trunk though haha

I asked for designs and specs if anybody had ideas. You obviously didn't read it all the way. Or a good build to do for it without removing back seats and using the rear center console hole

It is a little confusing what you want, you say you aren't worried about numbers but then the only goals you state are in fact numbers. So what do you really want?

Typically question marks are standard when asking questions and wanting a response from others. I see that you did ask a few questions in a round about way but no where in your initial post was there a single question mark; so maybe one could assume that the questions were rhetorical?

Either way be specific in what you are looking for since it is not customary here to bump threads unless 24 hours have passed, and that rule really only gets used in for sale threads. Ok, sorry just a long ass day. I get impatient when I'm tired. I do not care about numbers in the end. We are just needing specs and other designs unless you guys think the sketch I posted would be good. Yes of course I would like numbers as well as being a demo car, but Demo is the main thing we are chasing. If the numbers come with it thats just a plus. I understand on what you are saying about my questions. I did the best I could for being tired as hell. My bad guys.

I don't know much about your amp but if it will put out a true 5K with those subs a goal of 150 should be attainable in the car you listed. Most people go for the sealed off method with everything firing forward in your type of car; however, there is a man by the name of Terry Brocks that happens to build the loudest trunk vehicles on this rock and he does not seal his shit off.

I'm not sure where you may be able to find any of his work since he doesn't publish build logs and stuff like that but from what I remember from seeing them in person is both woofers all the way on the outer most sides of the box with the flared aeroport in the middle of the woofers firing forward in his vehicle. Again he doesn't seal this setup off from the trunk and has broke a 156 on the dash sealed IIRC. This is being done in a purely SPL setup, but with some adjustments you could get a daily tuned box to smash 150's in the same style enclosure. If it were me I wouldn't go too crazy with tuning the box super low. I personally don't ever tune my boxes below 35hz because frequencies lower than that are more likely to damage subs at higher power levels that I tend to run in my own builds.

If it were me I would be trying around a 3.5 cube box after displacements and a single 8" custom flared aeroport. This will give you 50.24sqin of port and comes out to be around 14" of port per cuft of enclosure. This may be a tad on the high side, but it could work out nicely due to the higher amount of power that you are running. If for some reason it is too much port area you can use a plate style mounting system for the aeroport and swap it out for something like a 7.5" or even a 7" port. I've personally found that running a single port is more efficient and louder than running multiple ports in the enclosure so I would stick to that if at all possible.

I don't think the Zv3 12" is going to perform best in a 4th bandpass.
