HDS215 box volume

You could use anywhere from 3 to 5 cubes, maybe as much as 6 cubes.

The larger you make the box, the more output you will get around the tuning frequency, but it will get more peaky.

If it were me I'd probably go with 5 cubes.

You are going to have to set your subsonic filter well.

How do you know this? Just curious

Get a tone generator and run a sweep in the sub freq range 10-80hz at the same volume level through the sweep and you will hear what he is talking about

Which part do you want to know about?

The part about output rising around tuning and the output getting more peaky as the net volume increases, that's just what ported boxes do.

The part about output rising around tuning and the output getting more peaky as the net volume increases, that's just what ported boxes do.

about the box volume do you kust know that because its a 15"?

The reason i ask is because im re building a 12" memphis mojo5 into a 10" so how do i know the best box volume?
