Pair of 21" subs on my hhr?

With a large motor and stiff suspension it would be safe to guess low q and low-ish FS just from the mms. Going with DD type box ratio perhaps tuning on the low side would likely give good results I'm guessing.

Yeah possibly, I'm sure that cone & coil weight a ton, but the stiff suspension is going to raise the Fs quite a bit. Just compared to what I've heard the specs are for the Tantric 24" I wouldn't be surprised the the Q is higher than you'd think too.

Anyway, its pointless to speculate, the only way to know is to measure it.

I don't know what the t/s secs are or even know who to get them. They were full custom build. Guy who had them,didn't even,know what power they could take. But ibdos get them. Thinking of running 1 or trading them for a good pair of 15s

Check out the SMD tool map, or try to find someone with a im-sg. That will help you get T/S specs on the driver, I know there are other devices. I just don't know their names, and might have lesser availability.

Run 'em even if the box is too small, just so you can say you had two 21"s in an HHR. Two 21"s will get down and sound awesome even in a compromised enclosure. It's two 21"s. They will move tons of air, even if they're not moving the most air they could move.

I seen a guy online running 24s in a infinite baffle. Think that's something I could do in the hhr? I know nothing about what or how do go about that..

If you had a way of creating a separate airspace like the cover in a hatch you could but the results would be less than stellar. You wouldn't have much airspace to work with either. It depends allot on the QTS and vas of the sub's. You could always cut out the floor and build a super baffle and vent then to the outside but level of fab would be absolutely mental. Sealed box for 2 21" sub's should get plenty loud. I wouldn't recommend ported on account of the space requirements and it would most likely have a peaky response due to less than optimal size.
