Triticum Agricolam
Had a 10.5" pistol for a while, the novelty wore off fast. Also, .223 gives up WAY too much power out of that short of a barrel. Have a 7" 9mm AR-15 pistol with a can now. I don't expect expect the novelty will ever wear off that! If your barrel is going to be shorter than 14.5" go with 9mm or 300 Blackout, anything except .223. Airborne
.223 is still lethal out of a shorter barrel. Close quarters is the reason for the short barrel anyway. Supressor it and be done.
n8ball2013
10.5 is about as short as you want to go with 223 but I agree with the others. I was so intent on doing an ar 9mm until I had a chance to grab an mpx so that followed me home and I'm working on sbring it THERE IS NO BUILD LOG! 1998 Chevy Silverado ext cab Alpine CDA-9887 4 Team Fi 15s 2 Ampere Audio TFE 8.0 2 Ampere Audio 150.4 3 Digital Designs CS6.5 component sets Dual Mechman 370XP Elite alternators inbound! 8 XS Power d3400 6 XS power d680 Second Skin Stinger Tsunami Wiring Sky High A Real Voltmeter not a piece of shit stinger. Airborne
I have a 7" and it is titts for CQB. It was my slide fire gun a while back. I could put a few through the chronograph but there is really no need. At close distances it is DEADLY and as accurate as a defensive rifle needs to be. I do understand people's concerns, when in doubt stick to you gut. But my house guns are all intermediate cartridges, I train all the time (been retired a while so not as much as I used to) and am absolutely confident in my ability to make the super shorty guns do what I want. Supressor it and be done. If you are going to go the trouble of getting a can for the thing, you might as well do it right and SBR it so you can put a stock on it too.
