4k tvs are we there yet?

Recommended Posts

So you judge a TV by the shitty factory settings you see while staring at them in a brightly lit store?

Hmmmmm.

You know you sound like you're giving a sales pitch to a customer and trying to talk them into a high dollar TV right now right?

I hope you talk better than you type though.

i worked in magnolia . Not brightly lite. you can play with settings how ever you want at bestbuy. Well most of them. i didnt say it was a bad tv just not my choice and thats why. i gain zero by him buying anything being i do not work there anymore. when i did i still gained nothing we were NON commission based

Because apparently I like making things up?

http://www.cnet.com/products/vizio-m-series-2015/

never said that. i ment more so there Claim one the best tvs for 2015, is a tough statement to make when they tested so little tvs for 2015. I use to love cnet for tv reviews. However for 2015 i think they tested less than 5 tvs? Check out Hdtvest.Uk or avforums. they get very indepth

PC gaming as well with a true 10 bit panel and Chorma 4:4:4 support is awesome. pc gaming you absolutely will see an advantage of 4k

Definitely, but at the moment, what you need for pc gaming is not really affordable in a monitor yet.

depends on what you play i suppose. if it was metro 2033 id say no way would i waste the money. but games like Cod really don't need that much.

I am speaking as the PC gaming enthusiast. Usually they like to run decent frame rates, and look for faster response times and certain panel types. For the casual, that shit don't really matter.

well if it was souly for gaming i suppose they wouldnt be looking at a tv period do to the limit of 60hz input limit along with medicore input lag. i personally like the more visual wonder then the competitive gamming but thats me

I have a rca 42" because for me spending big on tvs is a waste since I barley use them anymore.

So for me if it turns on and doesn't look like complete garbage I'm happy.

Actually I'd have to say for what I payed for this TV I'm thrilled with the picture quality.

That being said a lot of people's definition of "music" is a clipped 30 hz sine wave with some 80 IQ knuckle head grunting about committing crimes and his genitals.

Just the other day I was looking into the 4ks and found that vizio makes a price friendly 4k and being that there is not much 4k content anyway I'm almost sure I'm going to pick one up maybe after black Friday to see if any deals come before then. Vizio user since they made their 3D tvs so I'm confident on their reliability.

I just picked up the 70" Vizio 4k, you won't be disappointed. Love the Netflix 4k streaming and the upscaling.

x2. This is all over overclock

Edit: Also for people who would want to put their 4k tv to their computer as well. You must remember, only certain video input types can transmit true 4:4:4 4k
