Question for box builders.

If there is only room for a single 15 sp4 ported or 2 sp4 sealed. Which on will do better.

Single 15 on 3500 watts at.5 ohm

Dual 15 on 5000 watts at 1 ohm

Or not better but which would you recommend

Depends on what you want but I'd go ported for output.

But you can make your mind, here's two sealed on 3K each (red) vs 1 ported on 3K (yellow), (average theoretical cabin gain applied) two drivers on 5 net sealed: and 1 driver on 4.1 net ported tuned to 32Hz:

Is a flat response on both. I do have the room to do 2 subs ported but also not trying to add too much weight on the car More subs = more wood, bigger amp, and more batteries

Would a single 8 inch aero port work or 2? Was thinking 3 6 in inch aero could do too

I'd do 2 8s. Still might not be enough but it's better than 3 6s

Two eights would be borderline at near 30 m/s peak airspeed @ 32Hz, not sure I would recommend but if you were to do then some psychoports or anything with great flares, as far as net volume no less than 7 net for the pair.

I was talking about a single sub. Would do 2 8 inch port per 15

Oh. 2 6 s would be good for a single I think. 6o ish inches of port

Yeah I just have to think about it really hard. Once the deck is cut there is no turning back. Sub/s will be firing into the cabin

3 eights for the pair would work out fine port area wise.

2 6's worked great for me in a single 15 box. did 2 6's that were 30ish inches long each in 4 cubes. was tuned high 20's or low 30's idk.
