Sundown Sa8 not at full potential

So I got a custom box made for my 2014 sierra regular cab. It's ported,and huts real low and nice...but with the windows down. With the windows up it doesn't get as low or deep or loud! I'll post pics of the box. It's powered at 1ohm load with a Sundown 600d. And I have an audio control lc6i with everything hooked up.

That's normal. I have a silverado. Windows up sucks. Windows down its a whole dofferant story

Sealed up is most the time going to be different than windows down.

Is there any kind of little mod I can do to make them sound louder like with the windows up.?

if you raise tuning it will perform better with the truck sealed

this is the box. fits like a glove. The back is fiberglass molded to my truck back wall. And there is the inside. I Didnt make it. I had a guy make it for me. He Said its tuned to about 34hz...any help? Everything look ok?

So tune it higher pretty much....to what exactly? 40?

Wouldn't go quite to 40. Would start by raising to 36, then 38. Regular cabs tend to dig better on lows even with higher tuning.
