So this is pretty much where I left off at tonight. Tomorrow, I'll be running around getting things I need. I'm going to hit up harbor freight for some zip ties, a large moving blanket to cover the tv when it's not in use, and last on my list is to go order a couch. Wiring this is going to be such a pita, but my favorite thing about audio is you guessed it, wiring. Hopefully the the time I'm don't the only exposed wore will be the 8awg going from the bass cabinet to the amps. Anyway I sprayed some rubber spray over the bolts that were exposed so I'm waiting for that to dry overnight. Here is where I left off at today.

One of the recessed lights didn't work, so I have to go exchange it tomorrow. I have a total of 9 5k LEDs controlled of 2 separate switches. One switch controls 6 that can be on when the garage door is open, and the other controls 3 that work when the garage door is down.

Did a little work last night. Subs are wired and loaded. Time to start wiring everything else ? Hopefully it's done in week or 2. I ordered my couch for the setup as well. Got a custom charcoal and black leather 3 piece sectional with a chaise and ottoman. I pretty much designed the damn thing with the dude at the furniture store. It's suppose to be here in about a month. Anyway onto the pictures. This is how it should look once it's completed.

Some sub and box pron for you guys.

  • 2 weeks later...

So this thing sounds pretty awesome. I still have to mess with some settings:

Still waiting on my couches to be finished. They take about 15 business days to get made. I was kinda picky with the specs so I'm sure it will take all 15 days. I'm still running some wire so I can add an additional modem where everything is at. I'm really happy with how this turned out.

Whole setup looks clean, the wiring, etc. How's the bass in that space? Door rattle?

Man, for what I paid for those little polks and for them being passive the mid bass sounds pretty damn good. The lower end kicks ass man. Everything in my house shakes. forst order of business is to watch Conner beat Diaz ass.

That looks great man! Super clean installation. I can tell you've been taking the time to get everything right.

Glad to hear the things are working great in the bass department :-)

Thank you, and again, thanks for your help!

Gonna get that epoxy floor? I wish you were in MN, I have a hook-up. lol

Man, I wanted to do the floor, but to be honest I don't really have an idea of how much it would cost to do that. I was thinking of getting some 3/4 inch rubber and foam matts, but only enough to cover the couch area.
