dwright27 Posted April 16, 2008 Report Posted April 16, 2008 ok so im interested in getting 2 sundown 1500s and strapping them but i only have one woofer. its dual 2 ohms and would like to strap at 2 or 1 and not 4. any way to do this without buying another woofer? kbreudi Posted April 16, 2008 Report Posted April 16, 2008 so do i put the positive wire from the woofer to the positive on one amp, and the negative to the negative on the second amp? first parallel the two coils on your dual vc woofer...then you will have two leads from the woofer, one + and one - with the sundowns just "bridge" the negative terminals of the amps to each other, and connect the + wire of the speaker to the + terminal on the master amp. then the - speaker wire to the + on the slave amp. be sure to have the RCA's ret right for straping amps Quote TEAM SUNDOWN 4 Nightshade 15"s 2 Sundown SAZ-4500 8 Deep Cycle batts 1998 Cadillac Catera SPLMAX CUP 2008 Fourth Place Overall
