I'll make this really sweet an simple. Whats an old school amp that will give me a clean 600 watts rms or a lil more. Looking for 600 watts -700 watts. Price won't matter, sick of running into problems with everything so just gonna go buy an entire new set up.

what is your idea of "old school" 80's, 90's, 2012? find either punch 500a2's or 800a2's from the late 90's

Like 90's and before, and I had a 500a2, wasn't up to par. I mean the Punch 150 I have is bigger than it was, just because it rated 727 on a bench doesn't mean its good 727 in the real world. Not being a douche, just saying how I feel. I personally didn't like it haha. Also, on ebay the 500a2's sell for $80-$100, the Punch 150 2nd Gen all sell for over $115, more along the $150 range. Sooo... That alone says something about their comparison in my book.

Find some MTX Thunder amps, the black with the gold letters. What impedance you looking at running? 1? 2? 4?

Looking at running a 2 ohm final rating.

Find you a Linear Power 5002iq, run it at 8 ohms and call it a day.

You will have more than enough power to take care of your needs ...

i think that is because the 150s can be hacked to run 1ohm and people find them very desirable .... ive never ran a punch amp that didnt exceed my expectations but remember that subs didnt take as much as they do now... 4 punch 12" DVC's on 2 punch 800a2's had me up with the loud people back then and 2 punch 225a2's on the doors

my MTX2300 was right there with my 500a2 now that 2300 was a great amp... still got it but all it does now is burn voice coils
