audiofanaticz
amazon, type in LED, scroll through millions of the same thing and pic one at random. SMD and waterproof pretty much it... watch out for some selling LEDs that claim to be something better than the rest because they have a "namebrand" which is nothing more then 1 guy buying no name strips and putting his name on them and cost double and come with the same controllers as all the others at half the cost. Oh and SMD has nothing to do with this site or Steve Meade, it stands for "surface mount diode" just so your aware. Also try to read deep into the specs some are a different type models of led some better than others. Like 2835, 3014, 3020, 3528, 5050, etc. Also depending on what your wanting to do with them, the way the rgb is on some stripes will make some more desirable than others. Some RGB (red green blue) strips have separate led for each color, which means your color led on the strips would be every 3 leds and kind of distant from each other and could leave a uneven glow. While other RGB strips have rgb led's, so each led can light up which ever color you want leaving a more even glow effect. Id probably keep an eye on the actual spacing between the leds on the strips too.
