MADVIBES
I have to tell you, that there are certain brands of pro audio drivers that sound warmer than others, the crescendos sound warm, the mids atleast. i bought some carbon fiber audio pipe pro drivers and they sounded unreal, I am sad they are not made anymore. I saw somewhere that the Opti pro mids with yellow cones were good. Someone was replacing their 8 or 10 something crescendo mids with them. I was thinking of the Polk MM6.5 set because i have had Polk separates back in the day. How do you think the crescendos would compare to these sound wise? 91 C350 Centurion conversion ( Four Door One Ton Bronco) 250A Alternator (Second Alternator Coming Soon) G65 AGM Up Front / Two G31 AGM in Back Pioneer 80PRS CT Sounds AT125.2 / CT Sounds 6.5 Strato Pro component Front Stage CT Sounds AT125.2 / Lanzar Pro 8" coax w/compression horn tweeter Rear Fill FSD 5000D 1/2 ohm (SoundQubed 7k Coming Soon) Two HDS315 Four Qubes Each 34hz (Two HDC3.118 and New Box Coming Soon)
MADVIBES
its impossible to compare and I will tell you why, the polk had passive crossovers that utilized 3rd order filters on the high and low pass that perfectly divided the frequencies, pro audio speakers usually dont use filters, you can do it electronically but you will need atleast a 31 band eq to play with all the peaks and dips. Pro audio drivers usually are louder but rarely sound better than good components. I would use pro mids but I would not use pro tweetersif I really cared about listening to my music. Kyblack76
never heard a nendo PA sound worth a shit. My selenium 8's i had crossed over at 63hz on a 18db slope. The nendo's where always just screaming. Again, imho. IMHO those nendos never did shit for me. I only heard them in about 106 different builds and rigs, but.... MADVIBES
the nendo's I have heard have had coils put on the mid ranges to prevent from trying to play to high where they have no business. So I am bit jaded. there are very few if any pa speaker that can sound good without a choke on the high freqs.
