KiKaZz74
So I'm trying to do the proper thing and put projectors in with HIDs. I have a 2009 Dodge Journey SXT. I cannot find any projector fitted housings that I like. Actually I only found 1. Is there anyone out there that will do this for you? Like retrofit a stock one for you and seal them back up? And how much would it cost? I'm just wanting to do the low beam HID and keep Hi beam stock or put HID in the reflector housing. Who does this or knows how? I just don't feel confident doing it. Otherwise if I could get it all aimed would I be better running LED headlights or HIDs? I just need to be able to see farther down the road and see well. I don't want to be the assholes I hate and blind everyone. And from what I've heard I guess my vehicle is decent for putting HIDs in the stock housings as it gives a good cutoff. KiKaZz74
I just don't feel comfortable doing it. But I would be able to get it how I want. Unless someone can find a set I'd like to see if anyone knows of a company that can do it or is willing to do it for me. I just need to find something. bluethunder
I have done 5 retrofits using the mini h1 projector. In most applications no cutting is required. Just bake apart, paint housing if desired bolt in projector, align reassemble and install hids. whole process can be easily done in a day.
White Lightning
I have an awesome set of retros that came out of the Chevy. Trying to figure out how to integrate them on to the 93 Ford F150. I've seen it done somewhere on this forum ... Just can't find it. KiKaZz74
How hard is it to do honestly? I'll have to get a spare set of housings to do it on. What exactly will I need? I need it broke down item by item. If I do it I'm looking at either a kit or just doing the mini h1 and doing it piece by piece. What's the difference between standard and super h1? I do want to do this as it would be unique and noone around here takes the time to do it. Just slaps yellow or purple lights in and blinds the fuck outta everyone.
