Christopher Osterholm Posted February 11, 2016 Report Posted February 11, 2016 Got a question anyone know anything bout Banda Viking 5k amps I got a low batt fuse light and it won't play the subs any help please. The fuse looks good and check good continuity with a volt meter. I worked fine yesterday then to day subs won't play and low batt fuse light and clip short light is on

3vil Posted February 11, 2016 Report Posted February 11, 2016 If it's going into some sort of protect mode then there is must likely a wiring issue. A visual inspection is a good start, but you should really start probing with a DMM to make sure everything is actually ok. I'd also triple check your ground from the amp to the body of the car, yours may have loosened up a little over the months and now the amp is unhappy. And you worded that a little weird, you have a 2nd battery that us correctly wired into your cars charging system, or you have a 2nd battery that just powers one amp?
Christopher Osterholm Posted February 11, 2016 Author Report Posted February 11, 2016 I have a second battery in the back that is hooked up in line with my battery under the hood the amps were connected to to the one in the back both monoblock and a 4 channel the 4 channel works fine I can hear words and music from my highs and mids but subs not working

These protection circuits are weird, and they get stuck in protect. Think of the "low batt/fuse" light as a protection indicator. Time to send her in.
