Single din H/U, 1/2 din EQ. Anyone have pics of installs?

I have a pioneer headunit and just bought a Clarion EQS746 EQ in a 2012 Malibu. Stock is a double din radio. i was hoping to utilize the empty space underneath the radio to mount the EQ instead of having to put it in a different location. Hoping to see what others did without having to hack the dash kit. Maybe a dash kit that you guys know of where I dont have to cut?

Why do you want the eq? I haven't used one of those in probably 10 years

This is my first run at using one. I haven't heard anything negative yet about it, only positives such as it cleaning up your sound. Plus it bumps your RCA voltage to 7 volts, my h/u is only 4

I wouldn't worry to much about the hu voltage. What do you meen "cleans up your sound"? What Hu do you have?

Pioneer mvh-p8200bt. Heard it sends a cleaner signal and just gives it an overall better sound. Plus more precise tuning

Meh if you have a good head unit it's not really needed I had one and got over it

I have one mounted in my f150. I don't use it much, but since I'm running an alpine cda 7949 still it helps.

Did you just set the EQ in the pouch or did you have to do some cutting?
