Fyi had 2 different subs recently and both worked fine on my setup. Just this new one won't work. This new one I built box and did all the sub wiring.

Bayuk89 Posted March 28, 2016 Report Posted March 28, 2016 If its a 4ohm voice coil its should read 3.6-3.8 ohms of resistance. If its a 2ohm voice coil it should read 1.6-1.8 ohms of resistance. This is a ROUGH estimate, but if your 4ohm sub is reading over 5ohms of resistance there is a problem....
