Quick Question

Ok so im getting my electrical together for my truck build and just wanted to kno if i get a d3400 and an xp3000 would i have to get a isolter or could i just wire them in parallel and be done with it? Only gona be running 2.2k

Pretty sure as long as theyre both 12 volts running them in parallel will suffice.

Reason i ask is because xp's arnt meant to be used as a starting battery and sune the 2 will be i parallel i thought i might damage the battery with out using some sort of isolater

You will be fine, i ranned a d3400 upfront n 2 xp3000 with a d3100 in rear before and it was fine.If i'm not mistaken the xp are not meant for underhood n d series are.

The xp are more for bank power there similar to capicitors but not the same,Just wire them n play some bass.

3400 and xp3000 is perfect for that power. ran the same on a d4800 and xp2000. even with a stock alt, just big 3, you'll be golden.

Just make sure you run the 3400 under the hood, XP in the trunk. That xp3000 alone will push that 2.2 sufficiently. with the 3400 under your hood youll be great in terms of voltage. Any plans on adding a H/O Alt?
