Both will be running off a American Bass VFL120 witch is 2200rms at 1 ohm 3 10's would be at .6 and 2 10's at 1 ohm .what setup would be louder or would it pretty much be a wash becsuse same amp 2022 Ford Maverick on 22’s Skar SK1500.1 on 4 Skar VD-8’s Mids Sundown Super tweeters, Skar TX 6.5 components on Skar SKM400.4 LC2 for audio control , XS Power D680 XS Series Extra Battery

They don't need so much power to be loud. 2 will be cheaper than 3, and maybe louder (depends on the box). With those subs on that amount of power you are going to want at least 20 sq in of port area per sub. That could be tough to fit.
