dsw422
Ok.. very frustrating day for me.. built a box for a friend. Was trying to set it in the car, and no fit!!! Ugh!!!! We beat some of the body panels trying to clear room but nothing helped! Now I gotta pull off all the carpet I put on and cut the box down smaller. 1.5-2 inches less deep and 1 inch less tall.. Anyone ever had this experience?? Hoping I'm not the only one that has done this.. 2014 Ford Focus SE Sedan Factory Sony 10 Speaker Sound System 1994 Ford Bronco Dual head unit (i kno) Sony door speakers Kenwood Rear Speakers Custom Center console in the works. will house an NVX NSW10" https://m.facebook.com/WinnsCustomCarAudio/
Joe X
It happens all the time, you avoid this by building a cardboard test box and trying to fit it before any wood is cut.

dsw422
I measured every thing right.. the problem was trying to flip the box upright once in the trunk.. and that's what wouldn't work.. I think I'll always make a cardboard box to test fit from nowork on.. 2014 Ford Focus SE Sedan Factory Sony 10 Speaker Sound System 1994 Ford Bronco Dual head unit (i kno) Sony door speakers Kenwood Rear Speakers Custom Center console in the works. will house an NVX NSW10" https://m.facebook.com/WinnsCustomCarAudio/
MrSevs
I'm guilty of this... Just because you have a height of 17" doesnt mean the box will slide in at that height. I tore up my rubber trim trying to get it in.
