sicrides6 Posted May 6, 2016 Report Posted May 6, 2016 I got offered a 500ft spool of 1/0 cca for 250 is this a good deal and with that much cca and being able to do multiple multiple runs of it would it offset the dreaded issue with resistance that everyone says cca has vrs ofc
sicrides6 Posted May 6, 2016 Author Report Posted May 6, 2016 Compared side by side with my xs power ofc it is same size and looks like same thread count

3vil Posted May 6, 2016 Report Posted May 6, 2016 At $.50/ft for 1/0 that seems like a good price. You can easily offset the added resistance by doing multiple runs, and with 500ft you should have more than enough.
SnowDrifter Posted May 6, 2016 Report Posted May 6, 2016 Edit: Misread, thought it was 250' for $500 $0.50 per foot is a great price, hop on it. If you want a reference for how much to run: 3 runs CCA is equivalent to 2 runs OFC ~~~~~~~~SAY NO TO PHOTOBUCKET~~~~~~~~ Snow's DD-1 tracks here: https://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/167433-snows-dd-1-tracks/ My take on OFC vs CCA: https://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/110381-things-that-piss-you-off-in-the-car-audio-world/?do=findComment&comment=2461444
