Where to mount ANL fuse in my vehicle?

Recommended Posts

So i have a 2004 tahoe and I'm getting wires cut to install my big 3 and my amp soon, but I can't find a decent spot in my vehicle to mount it.

I was thinking about mounting them on the fuse box, but I don't think that is really safe to do, but it seems like the only good and close spot I can find.

Can I mount them on top of the battery?

Anyone else with this model tahoe have any suggestions on where i can mount at?

close to battery as possible. look up pics. of what other have done, I use industrial 2 sided sticky foam tape, so not permanent but stays on place. zip tie it to something? wire is thick enough to support the weight of the fuse holder anyway. Keep your fuse panel accessible. Make sure your fuse is accessible in case it blows.

i think i'll go with some industrial velcro or the double sided tape that you recommended, but another thing is i have the Sky High Car Audio ANL ring terminal fuse holder and there isn't much surface area on the bottom of it, could that be a problem or would the tape still hold it enough.

When sticking them should i use the side of the fuse box or on top of the battery?

I'd be able to fit both perfectly on the battery, but don't know how well they would both fit on the fuse box

dude. just screw it to the side of the fuse panel. use 1/2" screws and you will not hit anything at all.

Can you be sure? I would hate for him to try that and end up drilling into something important.

Well shit.. It seems pretty clear to not screw them into the tire, or window, or ecu......... That seems to go with out saying eh?

2 fuse blocks? lol.. shit.. get 12 under the hood.....
