80prs help

Recommended Posts

split the middle pair of RCA outputs from the 80prs, set the HPF and LPF as low and high as you need for the two mid's amplifiers, then use the filters on the amps themselves to highpass/lowpass to the speakers you want to crossover for midbass/midrange. make sense?

Yeah i get it i think, but when adjusting the hu won't it mix up between the midrange's and the midbass

why do you want to use a LOC ? im lost ?

First rca output on the prs80 is for tweets

Second one for the midranges

And third for subs

Want to add a LOC/HLC to have an extra rca output for a midbass amp

the last thing id do, is put a loc in there, they are shit....... get a dsp then.

you're not splitting the rca's for the mids, you're splitting the rca's for the sub, then setting the low pass and high pass where you can get usable frequencies to both amps, then fine tuning that range with the crossovers on the midbass and subwoofer amp

But the subs rca's will already be splitted once because off two sub amps
