If you have enough sq inches of port to spare, you could add wood to the inside of the port to make it smaller to tune lower without having to add to the port length.

I will just buy more mdf It's only 35 bucks and this time I'll have a table saw that's just what win sd told me to make as far as cubic ft and demensions I wanted also tuning wise

This seems to be only ported box I could find that fits back there that (claims to be) tuned to 33 hz. It's a crappy box but it's what I have for now. I have two RF P2's and the lower notes seem to be empty but the mids sound great. I'm running a decent Hifonics ZRX 1200​, subsonic set at around 23-25, lpf is at around 90. Is it just that the P2's don't have the frequency range to hit low notes? I believe there range is 27.5 to 250

It's a prefab and I wouldn't be surprised if it's tuned to >38Hz, build your own box that you are sure about it's specs, the sub is not a Sundown X but it should be able to play to the upper 20s.

Box is tuned to 33hz and 20hz isn't loud enough? The output from the port will drop off rapidly below port tuning and will cause the sub to unload. This is how people kill their sub and then bash the company it came from because of it.

Not only this but he bought a cookie cutter SPL subwoofer thats design to take abuse/get loud and he's wondering why its hard to play down to 20hz ?
