jonathancullen89
ohh i know computers, my experience has been with towers though. not laptops. and im going for software engineering. i know about newegg, tiger, all those companies. i dont really have a budget, maybe 2grand tops, would like to stay around $1200 or less though. i found an hp at bestbuy for 1200 i like, just wondering if there are better deals out there. RamenNoodles
Ahh gotcha. I was kinda confused. As long as you know some sort of computer genre you are g2g. I personally have a hpdv6000 and i like it. I think it was a little over priced but it was a grad gift so its all good. Full loaded it was 1800 with an additional 3 year warranty. My suggestion for laptop brand would go to Acer. They are rock solid laptops. They are great for their money and are nothing but champs that can be used and abused. Newegg is always having great deals on them. Quote Diablo Audio Technologies Fi Car Audio Ascendant Audio
ptcary
how do u get deals from your college? do you have to buy them through the college or what? Through your colleges' campus bookstore. If your on a tight budget, I am on my second Gateway laptop, previous one lasted me 7 years with no problems at all. You can always upgrade later on.
