jonathancullen89 Posted April 24, 2008 Report Posted April 24, 2008 alright so im going to college in august, but i NEED a laptop. i am going for computer software engineering so im going to be running a few programs on it. what are the good computers now-a-days, i was going to get an alienware just because but if i can get a good deal on a computer i will have enough money for a small system and security for my car. so what are good computers, and where do u get them. i was lookin around bestbuy and they have some good deals but everything else they have is overpriced so i figured thier laptops are also. Shibby Posted April 24, 2008 Report Posted April 24, 2008 I had an alienware laptop for like a week, didnt like it at all, I would go with a dell. depending on what school you go to you might be able to get a hell of a deal. I know I get a deal for my college. Hope that helped. Quote

Shibby Posted April 24, 2008 Report Posted April 24, 2008 By going through the colleges website I am able to get to the dells website that is designed for the U. I would be buying the computer straight from dell just at a discount since the school buys so many computers from them Quote
