I used to use Spybot search and Destroy free version but haven't in years. I was happy with it at the time though. Get good adblock extensions/apps for which ever browser you use. Also, don't use Internet Explorer. It is pure shit, quite literally. Then for the cookies and temp shit that piles up. Get into good habits of cleaning out your PC. I use CCleaner, a free program. It is VERY good at erasing useless temp data. RainStryke Posted October 16, 2016 Report Share Posted October 16, 2016 I ran Kaspersky for a little while when I did run a virus scanner... My ISP provided me a key for free when I was with them. But I don't really run a virus scanner anymore. Ad block and script blockers are a better way to go at it... I would recommend the prevention route, rather than damage control.
