I am not having any luck downloading torres box calc so I was hoping to get some help from some of you audioheadz. The box I currently have is 20dx15.5hx30w, FI recommends a 2.5 cu ft enclosure max so I believe I will be able to have a smaller box. I want to go with an aero port on this as well to try something new. I will be pushing the sub with my Crescendo s1500.1 @ 1 ohm so around 1500w. Any input is appreciated, thanks ahead of time. I can design this if someone can help me figure out how much port area I am looking to achieve. It depends on how much net volume the box will have, what frequency you are tuning to, and how much power you are going to be running. Sometimes, sometimes it is not though, which is the problem with rules of thumb. Given the space you have to work with and the amount of power you are going to be running, with a 2.5 cu ft box a slot port of 40-50 sq in would be good. Please. thanks for the constructive input...... yeah rules of thumb like Triticum Agricolem stated are not always enough. but they do make a good starting point. i have built enclosures with 18-19 per cube.
