hdorre Posted January 2, 2017 Report Share Posted January 2, 2017 Assuming the alt and front battery are connected using adequate wiring, it really shouldnt matter. Like @boom50cal, I prefer doing it from the front battery. Fitting lugs on the stud is easier (usually longer), is generally more accessible (fy GMs), and tends to be further away from moving parts.
