I have a 2010 GMC Sierra ext cab. This was a stock truck. Installed a Kenwood Ddx573bh, 2 Skar IVX10v2 in a ported box that fits underneath the rear seat. Skar SK65 Performance speakers in all 4 doors. Amp I went with Skar RD-800 1D Monoblock.  The Kenwood has a 13 band equalizer and it is out of my limited knowledge on how to tune it. I had a buddy do it the first time and the amp and we had it locked in but then the head unit lost all its saved info and I am on the road working. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

We can't tell you what your EQ needs to be set to in order for it to sound like it did. EQ comes down to personal preference, so just play with it until you find what it is you like hearing or can get it to sound like it did, or you would need an RTA to meter some pink noise, which would show you the peaks and valley's you currently have, and tune it flat from there. Theres just not a whole lot that we can do for you when it comes to making your ride sound the way you want it to.

Do you know if there were crossover points in the head unit being used? Or are the crossovers on the amps being used?

Thats shitty. Did it all get lost because u disconnected the battery or something? Ive beard that'll happen.

To anyone else, is there a trick to protect/save all ur headunit settings to avoid losing it all whenever the battery is disconnected?? Besides the settings you can do on the amp ofcourse.
