300824 Posted February 7, 2017 Report Posted February 7, 2017 i have a SC4 charger and duracell g31 in trunk with 34/78 up front. JS 300 amp alt. ive charged my two bats twice over the last 8 months. was basically topping them off as they were still strong. couple hours if that long.

reedal Posted February 8, 2017 Report Posted February 8, 2017 Once a month to top them off would be good, but if you're dropping into 12's and lower a lot while bumping then I'd want to do it more. My voltage usually stays above 14 with my 270hairpin, D34, and D47 batteries on ~3k, but once it starts to drop under 13.5-ish all of the time, ill recondition them. Batteries are about 2+ years old. System a rf 1500 bdcp and a sundown 100x4 on 2 12 ascendant audio chaos. RedFred Posted February 10, 2017 Report Posted February 10, 2017 I have a G78 Duracell under the hood, and G31 in the back. So far I've charged them once in about the 2 months that I've had them.
