HELP Design- Fibreglass Sub Pods in trunk on sides can it be ported ?

Does anyone in here know if this is even possible Im sure i can calculate the sealed volum needed  for my subs but if i wanted to make it ported is this even possible how would I get both sides identical ?

 

This is for 2 x Re Audio 12 SEX. I need my trunk space for a baby stroller so I have to take out the box you see in my build log. trying to make do with what I have here.

Is this possible to port two separate fibre glass pods for a 12 in sub? 

Does anyone know if the guy from Mobile Enclousures is still doing box designs ? His website is kinda wonky his name was Jason i think.

Yes you can port fiberglass enclosures.

Aero port. As for being identical, that wont happen. Im sure you can get similar tho. As long as both sides of ur trunk are the same shape. It would just be a matter of comparing both sides as u go along, throughout the whole process. 

Why not just make a smaller box? Maybe just use one of the 12s in a ported box. Or is it one of those strollers that are the size of a dirtbike lol.

I agree with 06RT. If you build a new box, you can go ported and probably save on volume over modding what you have

1 x 12" in a ported box would be smaller than 2 , and yes i could save some space easier than molding with glass. but my amp is 2000 RMS at 1 ohm. so If I used one 12  its rated up to 1500rms wont he blow  him self pretty quick. they are reconed with PSI soft parts dual 1 ohm.

my car installer is very old school and he is telling me a 1500rms 12 inch  cannot go into a sealed box or glass pod it would destroy itself and or the pod with high power is he  just in need of retirement ?

Ive also seen a two dope Passive Radiator setups recently. Saves on space big time bc you dont need port volume. Just space for the PR.
