EBC Brake Kit - S5 Yellowstuff and GD Rotors

Recommended Posts

U should really lube any spot where the pad touches metal because it’s moving every time u hit the breaks . But that’s just my opinion. Rotors look very nice.

Damn rear brakes from EBC doesn't even fit the back because it's too thick... I can't close the caliper dropdown. What brake do you guys recommend at AutoZone for these Rotors?

Lol. I forgot to slide the caliper pin back;hence why the caliper would not close down.

It's the simple things that get us.  lol

I lubed the front caliper pins but I forgot to lube the backs. Oh well.

The Yellow EBC brakes didn't fit the rears (too thick). I had to go to Autuzone and bought Duralast Max Brake Pads for $30.00.

It's weird how the front EBC Yellows fit fine but the rears didn't.

Brake job + rotors front and rear is not completed :)

Thanks again for all of the help everyone!

Not lubing the caliper slide pins is not just an "oh well" thing, they absolutely need to be lubed or you WILL have problems.

That being said a lot of people's definition of "music" is a clipped 30 hz sine wave with some 80 IQ knuckle head grunting about committing crimes and his genitals.
