Ayork Posted January 5, 2019 Report Posted January 5, 2019 I made a small 4th order for my reg cab truck, skar evl 12s. Had a ported box and wanted to test out how 4th order sounds. Sub are getting about 500watts each till can upgrade stuff. Roughly 2:1 (about 5 cubic ft) Everyone loves pics.

DiBo Posted January 5, 2019 Report Posted January 5, 2019 Ditch the t-nuts. They get loose and you'll regret them. Nice enclosure.
Ayork Posted January 5, 2019 Author Report Posted January 5, 2019 DiBo, once i installed the tnuts i was committed and one did pop loose on install, but fixed the issue. I had to take the driverside and passenger side seats (its all attached) up to get the box in so the room it takes up is decent. It sits currently behind driverside, that will change. I got only maybe 10min of play time but it sounds decent for for only getting about 500watt per sub.
Ayork Posted January 5, 2019 Author Report Posted January 5, 2019 Does anyone know about rather to switch phase on the subs? Ive read to do that if they r inverted but i have them installed like normal thru the baffle.

If you want to mess with it anyway, if the sub motors are in the ported side of the box just swap the wires coming from your amp going to your subs. I have to upgrade electrical and get a second battery. A 4th BP tuned to 34Hz likely isn't going to have any significant output above 40Hz, it will play lots of lows am sure but 40-80Hz?
