bigdog08
need help deciding between sundown subs for under seat box. It's either gonna be 4 10" sd3's or 4 8" sa8's in a under seat box. What does everyone think is a good choice?
SnowDrifter
The sd3s are intended for sealed boxes, while the SAs are indended more for ported applications. Depends on your listening goals, fab skill, and available space, and how much power you're running. Porting a small box can be difficult. The Sd3s I'd think would make a simpler instl, but the SA series will handle more power just from referencing the spec sheet ~~~~~~~~SAY NO TO PHOTOBUCKET~~~~~~~~ Snow's DD-1 tracks here: https://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/167433-snows-dd-1-tracks/ My take on OFC vs CCA: https://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/110381-things-that-piss-you-off-in-the-car-audio-world/?do=findComment&comment=2461444
