seriously though, thats a waste of time, money, screws, and bits. if youre glueing the mdf to itself, you only need a few screws or clamps to hold it in place while it dries.

lol if your concern is genuine you dont have to look at it.. If you think its going to stop the very same thing from happening to the top half you'd be wrong there too. Does it bother you?

Hopefully that'll be stronger than just a few very thin soakled layers of MDF in that stuff.. if you look down at the rows of screws i think i'll hold that slab pretty good. This box has gotta be built once and once only.. heh

Make sure you don't build the port or the front baffle into the shell quite as... permanently

You'll want to do HEAPS of different fronts and ports and sub arrangements so make sure it can be removed if needs-be... considering setting some lengths of all-thread in the cement layer, so they stick out the front to give you something extra to bolt the baffle down on.

Lol Ive pretty much settles on one.. its pretty sick I think. Doesnt make a very good "box face" but the port is 2.5 cubic feet.. entire enclosure (before bracing, speakers etc) is 16..
