I'm not sure on your car but GMs have a security feature that turns off the fuel pump if the car is started improperly. Thats why remote start units use a bypass to get around this. The key ignition must also be wired into the bypass since you cut the factory wires to install it. It sounds like they didn't bypass it at all the first time and have now bypassed it with the remote start only but not the key.

I highly doubt that.

They wired up your transponder bypass wrong, car is seeing two keys and shutting down. Like I said in your other thread.

It's a transponder bypass with a key, so no need to cut the factory security wires. It will use a ring around the key cylinder.

Like I said in his other thread they more than likely have the ignition wire hooked up off of the transponder... so everytime the key is being turned the ignition wire is going hot and activating the bypass... so the car is seeing two keys at that time and shutting down.

Shyne speaks the truth !

I do however have some q's

Did they ask you for another key ?

if so did you get an extra one programmed or just cut ? there is a difference.

if it is a transponder bypass and you supplied a working key then shyne is correct

If not give me more details and between us all we can sort it out!

out of any, Id agree with shyne. But overall, you should take it back to them till they get it right or ask for your money back/credit. you paid for a service. it should be working correctly, especially after a return with a problem. Do these guys check that its working correctly before they give it back to you? I cant imagine they wouldnt.
